Is money truely the root of all evil? If it is evil. I'd say it was a necessary one. For being practical for a moment, what would we do for food and shetler if we had none? Charity? Doesn't that require money too?

In any case, I do not think money is the REAL cause for conflict. The simple truth that humans are by nature flawed is the actual reason for our despicable habits. The fact that we weak creatures cannot resist the temptation when it comes knocking at our doors is precisely why money is often associated with EVIL!

The fact that we cannot but placcate our urge to fufill our temptations is exactly the reason why there are so few good, upright and honest people in power. But then again, wouldn't one who was truely good and truely pure be too innocent and be too 'good' to ever accept so much when there are many with so little? The good die young and if they hadn't been so good, they might very well still be alive today.

Perhaps that is what we truely need in the world. The not so good. But still, filled with what one would consider kindness and compassion. Money is power. And power can be used for both good and evil. Give it to a kind person and he would do the world with it. Give it to a sly and cunning person, you will see your money being used for their private bathroom gold taps.

In any case, I still wonder whether Anyone can resist the temptation. Do you NEED to be poor to be good? Ponder**

Side note: I CAN'T BELIEVE EVELYN IS TEACHING AT OUR SCHOOL!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA

Perversion is such a sweet word. Rolls off the tongue nicely it does. Hmms. Wrote a chapter in my other blog. It's called sisterly love. Although I do expect it to shock a few people. Just be patient. If you do intend to read it. I hope I might have the perserverence to carry on with subsequent chapters, but then again, a short one like this is rather nice. Hmms.

The Gods struck me down for eating walrus meat.
"What happened to you Teri?!"
"Nothing la... I'm fine."
"You ate Walrus meat didn't you!"
????HUH?????
"Umm yah... I ate walrus meat and the Gods struck me down."
Anyone want to guess who I was talking to? Hahha... since it's obvious I shan't name names... hehehe, but just so you know, there was real love and affection in that tone - even if she was talking about me eating a walrus.
Anyhoos, I've been depressed. And this is starting to get depressing. I mean being depressed is one thing, but being depressed about being depressed is just... so depressing! You know what I mean?
Errrgh.....
Don't you think that rainy weather always puts you in a thinky thinky mood? I love it when it rains. It helps me think in a more condusive environment. And it makes other people's hair look funny. =) hehehehe. Sorry. It's just I can't HELP but notice that your silky mane of straightened hair has turned into a mountain of...frizzball. Hahhaa... reminds me of marge(or what's her name?) in simpsons. WHEEEEEEEEEE.....
Monkey see, monkey do! It does makes sense. Kinda. I mean if you think about it. We the human apes do mimic what we see. It's only natural I think. Maybe instinctive. Hmmmsssss..... Like if the whole room started dancing and you just stood there. Like what kind of an ass would you be??
And I mean if that isn't perhaps the best example, what if YOU were the only one dancing in a room of three thousand? Wouldn't THAT be weird? Monkey see, Monkey do!! I think our society functions on the fact that we follow trends and that we as the human baboons really are predictable.
Follow the crowd and be a hippie! Follow the rockers and get the latest CDs! Follow the crowd and get a handphone for your mum, your dad, for your siblings, and wait, let's not forget to get one for that Jack russel so that he too can become a TV star for Starhub and get to jet around the world with a ringing tummy! Follow Michael Jackson and become white! Follow Olinda and become slim! Follow some unknown and put on weight! (yes, I kid you not, there are actually adds in the newspapers for that) And! Follow the pied piper and be sold into the sex slave industry for just $29.90!
I say. What an interesting world we live in!

Is truth really the truth?
Is what we see truly what is?

In reality, truth is culture bias. What may be true in one society may be entirely false in another. Truth is actually what we perceive it to be isn't it? We see the stars twinkle in the sky and we perceive it to be truly there, but in reality, that 'star' could have already disappeared.

How we see one thing depends on what spectacles we wear doesn't it? And often, we think that this one pair of spectacles gives us the best focus there is. But the fact is, there are many types of spectacles out there. Some with shades, others with a higher degree. If we were truly able to step out of our own idiocity and self-centredness, we'd be able to try on the different pairs and see the world with different perspectives.

In the end, truth is what we decide it to be. If we had decided a circle was a sqaure, we'd all think that a circle WAS really a square, and that THAT was the truth. It isn't so preposterous really. I mean we used to think the earth was flat didn't we? All because we continuously walked on a flat (or seemingly so) ground. And it was't until a brave soul had the guts to try on another perspective did we all suddenly realise that the earth wasn't flat at all!

Culture bias. It's been in style since the day we were born.

I had a REALLY whacked out dream last night. No. Actually. I've been having the weirdest dreams, all of this week.

I dreamt that two guys and myself were arguing over something and then I took the sword which one of the guys was holding and used it to chop off my own head. After which I'm quite sure I saw a phoenix attach my head back to the rest my body again.

So.... what do you think it means? Do you think it means I'm trying to be suicidal? Or do you think I was sacrificing myself to help settle the quarrel? Hmmm.... maybe it just means I should go find some harry potter book to read. Although quite frankly, I think the latest book isn't going to be quite as appealing as the earlier books.

Oh wells. My Whisky is growing bigger. Not fat though, because I REFUSE to let him go through the same humiliation other fat people like myself go through. Which is probably why I let him out for walks every single day. But I guess my mum doesn't mind helping me with that, she says he's too cute to mind. Oh wells. Whatever makes her happy, right? =)

I'm taking my mum Bio, the chapter on cells etc. Hahaha... I set a test for her and if she fails, I get a REFUND OF $300 !!! Erm.... complicated story...but the short of it is SHE NEEDS TO FLUNK THE TEST!!

Yes, yes.... and flunk it she shall...hehehe.

I'm in the core team again. And it seems the problems are just stacking up now. No. I didn't think I'd get voted again. Sure, I figured I'd be nominated, but I didn't think I'd ACTUALLY get in. Again. And for teaching no less. It's weird....I thought actually that Mel would get it. Sighs.... And I'm kinda stuck in a dilema I guess, there are only two people in teaching(including me). Which might not be too bad, coz anyway, teaching isn't expected to teach every week. So, Phew! A load of my back.

I'm not proud in the sense most people think I am. I think they confuse it with confidence. I am confident. Mostly. but, being proud is different. Being proud is not admitting that they can't do it, when they can't. I do ask for help, and it's really no skin off my nose when I do it, so how could that be considered being proud? I don't know... reflection...

Oh yah. I guess I am kinda proud in one respect. I'm proud of my family. I'm proud of my friends. You really do far exceed my expectations. You demolish my dreams and show me the stars. You guys are ACE!

And.. I'm glad I'm thankful enough to know it!
