14 Aug 08: It's starting again...
There are times when you just feel like ramming someone's head into the wall... and then what usually follows, is the realisation that it's a futile thought. *sigh* What I would do for some voodoo magic. =(
I don't know... it's like my world has been filled with 'difficult' people just so God can point at me and laugh.
Anyways... ah yes! About that inccident which happened to me recently on the bus - It was a late night bus ride home (I have night classes this semester, hence the late night bus ride), and it was pretty crowded, so I was sitting at the very back of the bus and this couple sat next to me.
The seating arrangement was like this: Bf, Gf, Me, bus window. Yup, the gf was seated to my left. Okay, so my problem wasn't with the couple per se, but with the guy. He had his arm around his gf's shoulder which is like 'who cares?', but what annoyed me was that he kept patting his gf's arm, and in doing so, his fingers would brush up against me.
The first time he accidentally got my chest (sorta), I thought I was sitting too close to the gf, so I shifted closer towards the window. But EVEN AFTER that he still managed to tap my arm/shoulder another 2-3 times. I mean, it's not like the gf was sitting THAT close to me or that she was fat or anything. And it wasn't as if there was an obese person sitting next to the guy that would make him need to shift nearer his gf... Also, no matter how close you wanna get to your gf... wouldn't you want to try to avoid doing certain body actions that could potentially knock/brush up against/harass someone else that is NOT your gf, especially after the first accidental contact?
*sigh* I don't know. If it's not intentional, then that guy obviously isn't sensitive to people's space. And if it IS intentional, he SO does NOT deserve his manhood! yah. You know what would be a useful invention? A portable dismembering mechanism. That'd scare any scumbag.
=)
So recently I came across a highly interesting fella called Nick Pitera. He posts videos of himself singing on Youtube and I happened to chance upon it. Lucky me~ It just blew my mind. REallY. And in a VERY WEIRD WAY. hahha... I posted some links below. The first link is of the pop song Better In Time sung by the original singer Leona Lewis, and the second link is of Nick doing his thing to the song. GO WATCH IT! And while doing so, close your eyes... you'll understand what I'm trying to get at...
That's all for now. I might consider posting some pics sometime in the near future. So check back soon!

9 Aug 08: Happy Bday Singapore!
Heya Singapore! Happy 43rd year! hee~ You're younger than my parents... wow.
Anyhoots, everything is just fine and dandy with me at this point in time. School's a bitch but that's the norm so I guess nothing's really new. Oh wait! Actually there was some stuff that happened to me recently on a bus that irritated me a bit... but well since today's a special day, I shan't elaborate on it further. It'll have to wait till another entry.
Anyways, I thought I'd just take this opportunity to share some interesting stuff with you! Most of which since it IS Singapore's bday will be related to National Day.
First off, I recently took part in this event called 'A Maze' that was organised by High Five Youth. It was held at the National Library Central Plaza (Saturday, August 2 at 11:00 am until Friday, August 8 at 9:00 pm). Yes... that means it's over.. But it was kinda fun. They set up this mini maze at NLB and invited the general public to come and paint the panels. They gave free paint too!! =) Hah.
Anyways, we (my NAFA friends and I) met up with some of the organsiers and sorta planned some stuff out with them. (e.g. what type of paints they'd need, contacts with Art Friend so they could get cheaper brushes and all... etc etc.)

Here's a pic of the maze before opening day!

On opening day!
Yes a whole TON of ppl turned up which was surprising actually... and their works were nice too! HEre's a look at some ppl's paintings...

Yes! That's all for pics for that event! And here's some links that's also related to National Day... yes... Singapore's show of creativity.... NOT.
Here's the controversial links to Singapore's National Day video and the Japanese Commercial that they were accused of copying from.
